Welcome to St Andrew!

Our teacher was Mrs Mancey but is now Mrs Semlyen. Have a look at the amazing things we have been doing!

We went on a minibeast hunt as part of our 'Into the Forest' topic. We had a checklist to draw and write the names of them and also we saw where they liked to live. We learnt this is called their Habitat. In Maths we learnt how to estimate and order amounts from smallest to largest and from largest to smallest

Teddy Bear Picnic

It seems such a long time ago when we all first met for a Teddy Bear’s Picnic on the field.

The children have learnt so much this term!

We have all been learning how to read using our phonics and we can all now write many letters and words using our sounds. We have been learning about numbers to 5 and how they are made. We have learnt what it means to be a good disciple and we try to practice this every day.

In Maths we have learnt how to create repeating patterns. We like to use natural objects as much as we can! We learnt all about the properties of the shapes: circle, triangle, square and rectangle and then we created pictures using these shapes
