Day to Day School Information

Timings of the School Day

8.45am           Start of the day

10.30am –10.50am         Break time

12.00pm –1.10pm           Infant lunch time

School Uniform

The majority of the uniform can be purchased from main stores. Sweatshirts, pullovers and cardigans with the school crest, together with ties and PE T-shirts in House colours are available from ‘Skoolkit’, Church Street, Basingstoke.

 Please ensure all items of uniform are marked with your child’s name.

 Girls      Boys

 White blouse and school tie (optional) or white polo t-shirt

Royal blue cardigan or blue cardigan/ sweatshirt (with school crest)  

Grey pinafore dress or skirt (below the knee) or charcoal grey trousers

White or grey socks or tights    

Summer – blue checked dress (optional) 

White shirt and school tie or white polo t-shirt

Royal blue pullover or blue sweatshirt (with school crest)

Black or grey socks

Summer – grey shorts (optional)




 Shoes must be plain and either black or navy in colour (black/blue laces). Heels must not be more than 3cm high. Jelly shoes are not permitted. Sandals must be enclosed. Boots may only be worn to and from school and then must be changed to school shoes for the remainder of the day.



 The PE kit consists of a T-shirt in House colours, navy shorts or navy gym skirt. For outdoor PE the children will need plain black trainers. During the colder months they will require a tracksuit for outdoor games.


Jewellery Policy

 No jewellery may be worn in school except for watches and, if ears are pierced, one set of plain gold/silver stud earrings (no diamante or gems etc).

For health and safety reasons earrings may not be worn during PE. If this is unavoidable you will need to provide surgical tape to cover the earrings or he/she will not be able to participate.



 Beaded hair ornaments should be avoided as they are included as jewellery. Small/plain slides, scrunchies and hairbands in the school colours are allowed. No other head wear/accessories are permitted. No shavings in hair. Long/medium hair must be tied back.


Please see this as a Health and Safety measure taken in your child’s best interest, particularly to avoid accidents in PE and in the playground.
